This position requires on-site and virtual support to schools in Guam. This person is a peer to an educational consultant and provides technical assistance to schools located in Guam to support successful school transformation with a focus on in-classroom support, and professional development services needed to implement all components of school transformation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Mathematics Instructional Facilitator must work with school-based instructional coaches, faculty, administrators, stakeholders and partners at assigned sites. In addition, s/he must:
Internal and external contacts required as part of the job: Maintain frequent contact with school and district partners including teachers, staff, and administration. Maintain frequent contact with TDS team and manager supporting the schools on Guam.
Machines and/or equipment used on the job: laptop used 90% time Computer or other special needs for the position: laptop

Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Additional graduate level education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU Equivalency Formula.
At least 3 years of directly related, successful secondary teaching experience teaching in transformation/turnaround or persistently low-performing context. Multiple years TDS experience may substitute for teaching certification. Curriculum development experience is preferred. Experience providing professional development and/or delivering the TDS math acceleration curricula.
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
