Sightline is seeking a skilled and experienced ERP Business Transformation Strategist Global Integration. This is a key role in optimizing business processes for Sightline and working to standardize the University’s approach to global transactions. The ERP Business Transformation Strategist for Global Integration will report to the Sr. Director Global Integration and Business Transformation and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the business processes align with organizational goals and drives operational efficiency through process improvement.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates on change management efforts to manage resistance and ensure successful transition to new processes and systems.
  • Utilizes data analysis and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of process optimization efforts and identify further opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborates with Sightline training team and Organization Change Mgmt (OCM) on developing training sessions and provides ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of optimized processes within the new system and operational model.
  • Collaborates with Sightline implementation team members to align business strategies with the configuration of the system to support optimized processes and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
  • Develops and implements strategies to streamline and optimize business processes within and around the ERP system, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving data accuracy.
  • Works closely with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements, assess needs, and define process improvement objectives.
  • Utilizes process mapping techniques to visually document current and future state processes, including key workflows, decision points, and system interactions.
  • Leads the analysis of existing global business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement in preparation for ERP implementation with a focus on business processes that need to be reintegrated or replaced, which are both localized and outside an enterprise system of record.


Additional Information

  • The work hours will primarily be regular day shift office hours. However, there may be times when they are required to work off hours to respond to project inquiries, adhere to project deadlines and meet the overall needs of a 24/7 health system/university.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Five years of related work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility.
  • Seven years of Global Work Experience with understanding of local laws, compliance and governance of multiple locations
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of successfully leading process optimization initiatives or implementations, preferably in Higher Ed.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their impact on business processes, with experience in implementing and configuring ERP solutions.
  • Global Work Experience with understanding of local laws, compliance and governance of multiple locations with a preference for a background in higher education or NGO type organizations.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in change management and influencing organizational culture towards a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Total Rewards
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Johns Hopkins University’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, education/training and other qualifications. Education and Experience Equivalency
Please refer to the job description above to see which forms of equivalency are permitted for this position. If permitted, equivalencies will follow these guidelines: JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing.
