Psychometrist
The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking a Psychometrist who will support research projects in the Center for OCD, Anxiety, and related disorders for Children, which includes an NIH-funded project that examines a mindfulness-based intervention for tics (MBIT). Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the psychometrist will be responsible for administering structured and semi-structured assessments to participants for research studies conducted by the PI. As such, the psychometrist will play a key role in determining participants’ eligibility for research studies and monitor progress over the course of study participation through regular administration of clinician-rated scales. Following the completion of interviews and scales, the psychometrist will submit relevant scores and documentation via an electronic data capture system (e.g., REDCap). The psychometrist will attend study team meetings, prepare reports (as needed), and assist with other project-related activities under the supervision of the PI. The psychometrist will have the opportunity to contribute to study-related research papers and/or poster presentations.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Administers and scores structured and semi-structured interviews to study participants. These interviews include (but are not limited to) the Diagnostic Interview for Anxiety, Mood, and OCD and Related Neuropsychiatric Disorders (DIAMOND), Yale Global Tic Severity Scale-Revised (YGTSS-R), Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale-II (Y-BOCS-II).
- Complete training on the reliable administration of study assessments.
- Attend team meetings to review assessment administration and scores.
- Prepare brief diagnostic summary reports of administered assessments (if requested).
- Enter scores and ratings into an electronic data capture system (e.g., REDCap).
- Perform miscellaneous related duties related to the research projects as assigned by the PI (e.g., follow-up calls with study participants to address disposition.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology or related disciplines.
- Two years related experience in administration and scoring of psychological/neuropsychological tests, psychometrics/statistics, and clinical assessment.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $24.61 - $43.12 HRLY ($50,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
