Research Interventionist
The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing is seeking 3 Research Interventionists. The Research Interventionist will be a hybrid position. The main focus of this position will be to assist with a clinical research trial focused on behavioral approaches for obesity treatment.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis. It does not exclude other duties as assigned.
- Identify and recruit eligible participants for the research studies, ensuring the target number of participants are enrolled.
- Conduct phone screens.
- Explain study objectives, risks, and benefits with potential participants to recruit participants.
- Build rapport with participants in the study with a focus on retention of research participants.
- Maintain a high level of confidentially and trust with participants and research team, must be willing to sign confidentiality agreement.
- Data entry using REDCap
- Perform weight and vital signs on participants.
- Provides updates on current progress of the study as requested.
- Understand randomized control trial principles and adherence with study protocols.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
- Two years related experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nutrition, nursing, psychology, or related field.
- Experience working with individuals with obesity in research or clinical setting.
