Research Program Coordinator
The Pulmonary division in the Department of Medicine is seeking a Research Program Coordinator who will work under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Balasubramanian. The coordinator will assist with the day-to-day logistical and operational tasks for clinical research including data collection, entry, analysis, and management. Responsibilities include leading participant recruitment for clinical research, answering study related questions, screening potential participants, scheduling and maintaining study calendar and serving as a liaison between the participants and the research team. Will work closely with the research team to ensure completion of all research related activities. Required tasks include in-office, field, and remote work.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in consenting participants for research studies, complete data collection, and conduct follow-up activities.
- Data collection includes administering questionnaires, data collection from radiographic testing, and ensuring testing is completed for the research study.
- Conduct follow-up activities including communicating with participants, phone call follow-up with further questionnaire administration, and ensuring timely follow up for repeat in person research visits and testing.
- Track participants to obtain updated contact information and scheduling follow-up visits.
- Follow established research protocols and complete trainings needed as per the protocol.
- Perform data entry of collected data and ensure safety and security of data.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Access to reliable transportation to conduct patient visits.

Starting Salary Range: $17.20 - $30.30 HRLY ($26,265 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
